UnPuff: Quit Smoking — Privacy Policy

1. Overview
UnPuff: Quit Smoking ("UnPuff", "the App") is a smoking-cessation and progress-tracking application developed by OGUZ STUDIO. We respect your privacy and designed the App so that the information you enter for personal tracking is primarily stored locally on your device.
2. Information You Enter
Depending on the features you use, UnPuff may store information such as:
- your quit date and time;
- cigarettes-per-day and smoking-related settings;
- pack price and related savings information;
- years or period of smoking used for calculations;
- reasons for quitting and personal goals;
- craving or trigger entries;
- wishlist or goal information;
- app preferences such as language, theme and accent settings.
These entries are used to calculate and display your progress, savings, smoke-free time and other features inside the App.
3. Local Storage
UnPuff uses local browser/app storage on your device for its local application data. The current application architecture does not require an UnPuff account, a personal profile on our servers, or a remote application database for the core tracking features.
Because your locally stored data is kept on your device, uninstalling the App, clearing its application data, or using device-level storage controls may remove that information.
4. Data Transmission and Sharing
The core UnPuff application is designed to operate locally and does not intentionally transmit the personal tracking information you enter to OGUZ STUDIO servers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal tracking information. UnPuff does not require you to create an account in order to use its core features.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may be distributed through Google Play. Google may process information according to Google's own privacy policies and the services you use on your Android device. This processing is separate from the local tracking data stored by UnPuff.
If future versions introduce optional third-party services, analytics, advertising, cloud synchronization, or payment features that process additional information, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
6. Your Choices and Data Deletion
You can manage the information stored by UnPuff through the App's settings and device storage controls. Where provided, the App's Clear All Data function can remove the locally stored UnPuff data from the App.
If you uninstall the App or clear its application data, locally stored information may also be deleted.
7. Children's Privacy
UnPuff is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote UnPuff account or server.
8. Security
We use a local-first architecture for the App's core tracking data. However, no device or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your Android device.
9. Medical Disclaimer
UnPuff is intended as a personal tracking and motivational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency medical services. Health-related information shown in the App should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will include a revised effective date. You should review this page periodically for changes.
